Our granulated maple sugar is made from wood-fired Vermont maple syrup, bringing the maple flavor to any recipe that calls for granulated sugar. Maple syrup gets darker and more flavorful throughout the sugaring season, and as it gets darker, it becomes more challenging to turn it to granulated sugar due to the sugar composition of the syrup. After many hours and experiments in the sugarhouse, we are excited to introduce a maple sugar with the dark maple flavor. With a fine texture, it dissolves quickly and can be used in tea or coffee, substituted 1:1 for sugar in baked goods, and added to soups, sauces, and other dishes for a minimally processed sweetener harvested with care from the wild.
